Busy Conference

Save the date for our 2022 Seminar,
to be held as a multi-site hybrid event on 18th and 19th February, 2022.

(Date changed from 4th and 5th March, 2022)

It has been confirmed that the postponed Hearing Health Sector Alliance (HHSA) Rural & Regional Workforce Summit, which will be attended by the Minister for Regional Health, the Hon Dr David Gillespie, will now be held on 3rd & 4th March 2022, coinciding with World Health Day and Hearing Awareness Week.

It is important that HBA members are represented at this meeting, not only to assist small business in rural areas, but to promote the interests of all small business owners across metropolitan, rural and remote regions. Therefore, as the HHSA Summit  coincides with the dates for our 2022 Seminar, the HBA Board has decided to hold our 2022 Seminar on 18th & 19th February 2022.

Please ‘Save the Date’ and further information about the seminar will follow. We hope to see you then!

Thank you to all who joined us at our March 19-20, 2021 Seminars,

and for all your positive feedback

In February 2020 our Seminar was titled 'Small Business Success in a Changing Environment'. Our industry was, and still is, undergoing major changes - we had endured the fires - the pandemic hit - in March our borders closed to non-residents. Little did we know just how much our environment would change!

Our 2021 seminar was even more important, and we designed it to keep us all Covid-safe.

  • Delegates welcomed the opportunity to personally connect, learn about our market, and share their concerns.

  • One of our guest speakers, Hunter Leonard, developed a focused workshop to reflect the specific needs of each delegate, who completed a short, confidential survey:

    • At the end of this presentation, delegates committed to 2 or 3 key business actions over the following 3 months, and Hunter sent follow-up emails at 4, 8 and 12 weeks.

    • Hunter generously gave a free digital copy of his Amazon best-selling book, Generation Experiencewhich includes surveys of over 10,000 business owners, plus a copy of his Basics of Business Ownership course. The total value, $135.
